Bios power supply idle control
WebSep 14, 2024 · After I leave the pc in idle, it randomly crashes after a few mins the display turns off (10 mins). It doesnt happen every time. I tried clean boot, disabling c states and changing power supply idle control to typical in bios, everything is at stock. Updated Windows and drivers (gpu and chipset specially). WebNov 21, 2024 · Switching "Power Supply Idle Control" to "typical" seems to do the trick. Of course that is not a long term solution I am happy with due to increased power draw, etc. edit: Newest Bios and switching to 5800x has fixed the issue now. I think this was most likely the beta bios having issues with idle voltage of the older CPUs.
