WebSep 21, 2005 · Espeically the long irons with the progressive offset. I own the 2 iron from the TA5 set and it is the easiest 2 iron I have ever hit and many of my friends agree. I would say the TA5 is a midsize, the TA7 was oversized. WebI am switching to cavity backed irons from forged tour blades. They are obviously more forgiving but sometimes feel somewhat mushy when compared to a crisp, well hit forged iron. I'm not sure if this is unique to the Cleveland TA5 but it is certainly a difference. Still when the TA5 are hit well they still feel great.
