WebMay 3, 2009 · The difference between F/5 and F/4 is a slippery slope. At F/5, simple eyepiece like Plossls work quite nicely, at F/4 they are pretty rough off-axis. Coma is increased by a factor of 2 in the F/4, many find it acceptable at F/5, bothersome at F/4.
